About
DESCRIPTION: Attorneys spend careers helping clients with difficult problems, and some of it sticks. Resilience is important, and this CLE offers four things that can help. You just practice them imperfectly and in small measure, consistently over time. Drawing on original research, clinical experience with first responders, and practical exercises, this program introduces four pillars - Purpose, Connection, Curiosity, and Gratitude - as a framework for what shows up when attorneys show up for their clients, their colleagues, and themselves. Participants will explore why purpose is the foundation that protects against burnout; why connection, even when imperfect, is one of the most effective ways the nervous system regulates itself; why curiosity about difficult feelings, rather than numbness to them, restores access to joy and contentment; and why gratitude, practiced out loud and in community, builds teams that are retained, cohesive, and vibrant. Participants will leave with concrete, low-lift tools they can begin using immediately. The goal is not to fix everything with a list of actions, but to become the kind of person others are glad to be around. These grounded, practical tools help you practice law without losing yourself in it. For accreditation information, check your Bar website or our list: https://www.clecast.net/accreditation. You will watch a video, be provided materials, and then fill out a certificate of completion should your state require that. Access to this CLE is available for 365 days following your purchase.
