Oregon CLE Requirements: What You Need to Know for 2026

If 2026 is your MCLE reporting year, the deadline is closer than it seems. Here's what Oregon attorneys need to know:
Key Deadlines for 2026
📌 Credits must be completed by: April 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM
📌 Compliance report must be certified and submitted by: June 1, 2026, at 11:59 PM (The usual May 31 deadline falls on a Sunday this year, so the OSB has extended it to the next business day.)
Minimum CLE Requirements
Your specific credit totals and transcript will appear when you log into your OSB account. Most Oregon attorneys reporting in 2026 need to complete 45 credits over their three-year reporting period, including:
5 ethics credits
1 abuse reporting credit
1 mental health/substance use credit
3 access to justice credits
